Princess and The Frog Party Ideas
Princess and The Frog Party Plan
One of Disney’s latest Princess Themes that have become increasingly popular since its release, is the Princess and The Frog party theme based on the movie and the story The Frog Princess. How about hosting a tea party based on the story?
Here are a few party ideas for a Princess and The Frog Party:
Princess and The Frog Party Games and Activities
- Princess Tiana Coloring Page. Print out the free Princess Tiana coloring page from our site. A great time for this is at the beginning of the party when kids are waiting around for others to arrive and makes this also an easy ice breaker.
- Masquerade Ball. First, dress up in prince and princess costumes and pretend to go to the Masquerade Ball. Not all guests need a princess and the frog theme dress, just any princess dress or dress-up costume will do.
- Mardi Gras. Play some fun festive music or music from the movie soundtrack and have a Mardi Gras parade like in the movie, The Princess and The Frog.
- Charm Scavenger Hunt. Hide charms all over the house or party room and tell them to help Tiana find the charms.
- Musical Frog Leap. Play this game like musical chairs except have the kids hop around like frogs around chairs, small area rugs, or just pillows. Make your own lilly pads using quality paper, craft foam sheets, felt or if short on time, purchase these from Birthday In A Box.
- Frog Pinata. Pinatas are always fun and kids love them! If little ones attending, make it a pull-string pinata instead of a “hitting” one. This frog pinata is ready to go! Another decorative option is to stick on a crown on his head to make a royal statement!
- “Kiss The Frog” Party Game. This game is played similar to the “Pin the tail on the donkey” style game. This kit comes with 12 kissing lips stickers, Kiss The Frog board, and a card stock blindfold. Easy to play: Give one pair of lips to each player. Blindfold a player and whirl her or him about once or twice. She then steps forward and using only one hand, pins the lips in the first place she touches on the board. Each player takes a turn. The player pinning the lips nearest the frog’s mouth is the winner. Kiss The Frog Princess Game
